Press Release

Date: Aug. 27, 2014
Location: Granby, CO

George Leing will be holding a town hall meeting at the Granby Library on Wednesday, September 3rd, from6:30-8:30 pm. There will be a formal town hall as well as an informal meet and greet and a chance for attendees to talk to George one on one. George will give a brief presentation about his background, his positions on issues facing the United States, and why he is running for office. Then, George will open up the forum for questions from the audience.

Leing said, "I want to be a representative for every part of this district, and I look forward to hearing the concerns and issues of the people of Granby and Grand County. They deserve to have an advocate in Washington who will be their voice, and I would be honored to be that voice. I believe that Washington is broken and that the gridlock in Washington is dangerous to the future of the country and to our families. I am not afraid to reach across the aisle to find solutions to problems including the rising national debt, our fragile economic recovery, and current immigration crisis."

George has a thirty-year career working as a business negotiator for a variety of corporations and businesses. Recently, George has experience working in the renewable power industry both for a wind power development and construction company and on an independent basis.
