Kasich and Taylor Issue Resolution Recognizing Labor Day

Today Governor John R. Kasich and Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor issued a resolution recognizing September 1, 2014 as Labor Day and encouraged all
Ohioans to join in recognizing the achievements of our state's working men and women
and to thank them for their contributions to our state and nation.

"Labor Day was created to honor and recognize the social and economic achievements
of the hardworking men and women of our state and nation," Kasich and Taylor noted. They encouraged all Ohioans to join in recognizing "the ingenuity, skill and motivation of American workers that have helped our state and nation to be leaders in an increasingly competitive global economy."
