Rep. Jim Renacci announced today he has earned the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for his commitment to small business.

"We support the candidates who support small business," said Roger Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. "Rep. Renacci has been a strong supporter of small business issues during his time in Washington, D.C. and understands the need for a vibrant small business community in his district back home."

NFIB has over 25,000 dues-paying members in Ohio, representing a cross-section of the state's economy. The endorsement comes from NFIB's Save America's Free Enterprise Trust (SAFE), the association's political action committee, and is based on Rep. Renacci's positions regarding key small-business issues including health care, taxes, and labor and regulatory issues.

"As a former business owner for nearly 30 years, I know how important certainty and predictability are for a small business planning for its financial future," said Rep. Renacci. "I will continue to put forth solutions that will provide small businesses with the certainty they need to invest in our local communities and create jobs in Northeast Ohio. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy in Ohio's 16th District and they deserve a representative who will stand up for them in Washington. I appreciate their support in my reelection campaign."
