Issue Position

Many of the schools in New York's 19th Senatorial district are failing our children. I will fight to hold the management teams of these schools accountable. We also need to put an end to school bullying and intimidation, which is not covered enough by the media, but hurts our children and diminishes their opportunity to learn and get an education. We need to expand access to higher education/college and vocational training programs so that everyone has a fair shot at the American dream.
