Shota Baghaturia is a proud graduate of the City College of CUNY. He supports both public and private universities in the state of New York. He stands for:
a) Increased financing for CUNY and SUNY systems, along with the State's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP),
b) Support for Cornell NYC Tech on Roosevelt Island and making sure that this new campus will Transform Quality of Life for Roosevelt Islanders for the better,
c) Better Education that is based on pay per performance and that encourages innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
