Mullin Praises Passage of Legislation to Assist Israel

Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) released the following statement after the House passed House Joint Resolution 76, emergency supplemental funding to Israel for the Iron Dome defense system. This legislation aims to help the State of Israel defend itself in light of increased terrorist attacks and bring a timely resolution to the current conflict.

"Israel is one of our nation's closest allies, and it's imperative that we help provide them with the tools to defend themselves," said Mullin. "The Iron Dome has been proven as an extremely effective air defense system, but in the wake of these ruthless terrorist attacks, Israel is in need of our support. These emergency funds will ensure that this tried and true defense system will remain operational as our allied nation continues to fight for the security of its people."
