April is the National Month of the Military Child
April 26, 2005
As our brave men and women continue to defend our freedom throughout the world, I would like to take this opportunity to highlight those young men and women who make the greatest sacrifice sacrifice: the children of our military families.
The Department of Defense (DOD) has named April the National Month of the Military Child. DOD is working with Kids Serve Too to recognize these brave sacrifices by the children of our military families.
Kids Serve Too is a program created by military families for military families to provide resources that support military children. When parents serve in the military, their Kids Serve Too.
The Kids Serve Too mission is to honor, support, and thank military children by fostering awareness and appreciation for the sacrifices and challenges they face.
