Issue Position: 10th Amendment - State's Rights

Issue Position

Date: Jan. 1, 2018

"States Rights" is a reminder to the Federal Government that the Federal Government was created by the Sovereign States and that the Federal Government has only those powers expressly provided to the Federal Government by the state, through the Constitution. All other rights are reserved to the States and the People. It is incumbent upon the States to protect and exercise those reserved rights, to the specific needs of its citizens and not allow the Federal Government to infringe upon the Sovereign States.
