Capital Equalization is the biggest issue coming up in 2012. Of the four school districts in Salt Lake County, one of them wants to take a portion on the others tax collection to fund new schools. Mel has fought to stop this before this concepts moves to the school districts in district 53. Mel's opponent was nominated at the state convention by the sponsor of this bill.
