Issue Position

Senator Joyce, through his work as Chair of the Senate Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets, is shrinking the Commonwealth's debt by de-authorizing millions of dollars worth of stalled bond projects.

Additionally, as a member of the Debt Affordability Committee, Senator Joyce has been charged with helping the Commonwealth reduce its long-term debt liability to maintain a positive credit rating which leads to low interest bonds and further opportunities for economic growth and job creation.
