Issue Position

Common sense tells us that you are not able to continually spend more than you make while borrowing $.42 of every dollar from other countries and expect sustained economic growth. The families and business owners in America have to live with the reality that if we continually over spend and borrow, we face the inevitable, losing our homes and businesses. The career politicians in DC seem to think the government is exempt from this reality. We must remove entrenched politicians who are guided more by special interests than they are the well-being of our country and their constituents. We are at a crossroads; time is short. We must act now!! Our children and grandchildren's future depend on us. We must stop voting to increase the debt ceiling and immediately change spending habits in all levels of government, beginning with individual offices in Congress. A balanced budget amendment is a must. This is the only way to force government to live within its means.
