U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) today highlighted the following egregious waste of taxpayer dollars from Federal Highway Administration as the Senate prepares to consider a bailout of the Highway Trust Fund.

$687,016 to renovate a historic towboat permanently moored at the Ohio River Museum in Marietta, Ohio.

"Taxpayers only take on more water when Congress bails out unnecessary spending like this," said Flake.
