House Passes Resolution Supporting Israel

Statement

Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) today released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representative unanimously approved H.Res. 657, a resolution expressing The United States' support for the State of Israel as it defends itself against unprovoked rocket attacks from the Hamas terrorist organization:

"Today, the House stood united in support of our ally Israel during these troubled times," said Kinzinger. "While our first priority must always be peace, Israel has every right to defend itself from those who would kill innocent civilians without a second thought. Hamas must immediately end these cowardly attacks before regional violence escalates any further."
