Congressman Stephen Fincher (R-TN) today issued the following statement in response to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas:

"In recent days Hamas terrorists have fired hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians. The deadly escalation of attacks is a war on Israel, and Israel has every right to defend itself.

"I continue to pray for a peaceful and permanent end to this violence. Until that time, Congress, the President, and the American people must stand with Israel.
