Many people have moved to Eastern Sussex and invested their hard-earned money in their retirement homes. While development offers a lot of benefits, we need a higher level of coordination to make sure that new development does not destroy our property values, our environmental resources, and our quality of life. We need to make sure we have adequate roadways and traffic lights, infrastructure, and drainage. While County Council has primary responsibility for land-used decisions, the General Assembly also has a role to play in dealing with DNREC and DELDOT.
