U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee, issued the following statement after GE Aviation announced plans to build, at its Auburn location, a 3-D printing, high volume additive manufacturing facility:

"I am excited to hear that GE Aviation has decided to bring high volume additive manufacturing to its facility in Auburn. This ground breaking technology is another step that keeps Alabama at the forefront of the aviation industry and is yet another recognition of our state's world class workforce. It is especially welcome news that GE is partnering with our wonderful local universities and community colleges to foster and develop future careers. I look forward to seeing the growth of GE Aviation and the jet propulsion industry in Auburn."
