House Approves Legislation to Help Oranizations

Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] released the following statement after voting for H.R. 4719, the America Gives More Act:
"When I visit local charitable organizations I am always impressed by the men and women who devote their time, energy, and financial resources in service of their communities," said Rothfus. "The legislation we passed today will make charitable giving easier by making several charitable tax provisions permanent. This will help increase giving by individuals and businesses and help the many charitable organizations that serve our communities."
H.R. 4719 passed the House in a bipartisan 277-130 vote.
