As the Chief of Staff for Baltimore City Department of Social Services, Antonio is tasked with ensuring that consumers receive continued educational training and certification, thus aid in transitioning into the workforce. Antonio strives to form a workforce that is equipped with education and skills needed to become self-sufficient.

As a Maryland State Delegate, Antonio will:

Ensure that low-skilled workers obtain the education and training needed to become self-sufficient and competitive in the workforce.
Organize stakeholders-businesses, labor unions and education systems to increase equity and reduce the socioeconomic divide.
Initiate a place-based approach to focus on needs of residents and provide a plan to overcome community-related barriers.
Align the place-based approach with sector-based strategies that focus on matching workers' skills to industry needs.
