Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (GA-06), vice chairman of the House Committee on the Budget, applauded the passage of two key tax reform proposals -- H.R. 4457 and H.R. 4453 -- in the U.S. House of Representatives, saying:

"If we are serious about economic growth, we must be serious about tax reform. Our efforts today would help businesses cut through the cost and clutter -- whether through the immediate deduction of the purchasing of new equipment and property or allowing businesses to access capital. These measures will help American entrepreneurs invest in growing our economy and creating jobs while boosting charitable giving from small businesses.

"We hope our Senate colleagues will join our efforts to provide tax relief and greater certainty for America's job creators by moving quickly to approve these pro-growth policies."
