Issue Position

My position with education is to build programs that are accessible to all that mentor children from preschool through college. Early child intervention has been proven to provide a stronger foundation for successful development. By mentoring children, we can help guide each child with individual needs and track their progress. As the children enter each phase of education, they will be challenged to their fullest potential preparing them for higher educational goals. We need to engulf this philosophy within every educational system.

Our direct involvement, as parents and teachers can reinforce the benefit of education to our children, uplift each child's expectation and drive them to success. With the addition of preschool and after school programs, single parents are better able to work. This would instill and reinforce the work ethic in our children increasing the potential of each child becoming a productive adult in our society. Children will obtain the benefit of a stronger educational base in order to succeed later in life. This builds the foundation we need for long term change and stability in our society. We will benefit from a higher intellectual society enabling our country to lead the world in education.
