Congressman Kingston (R-GA), along with several senior members of Congressional Committees with jurisdiction over border and immigration issues, sent a joint letter today to President Barack Obama, demanding immediate action from federal agencies on the immigration crisis at the Southwest border. The letter directs specific actions for the Administration to take -- using currently available authorities and resources -- to help address the massive influx of "Unaccompanied Alien Children" (UAC) into the United States from Central America.
Congressman Kingston has fought attempts to pass amnesty bills through obscure amendments and has called out the dangerous precedents set by the Obama Administrations lawlessness on immigration.
This letter comes the same day as news that the flood of migrants at the border is hobbling law enforcement attempts to stop narco-traffickers.
