Loretta works tirelessly to ensure that eligible Orange County resident - regardless of age, language or address - has access to quality health care.

Since its passage in 2010, Loretta has fought hard to get the word out about how the Affordable Care Act will work for Orange County families. Loretta has championed enrollment efforts throughout the 46th congressional district with a focus on in-person services. During the first enrollment period, she connected residents with over 20 enrollment events which resulted in over 2,000 enrollees. Overall, Orange County surpassed its projected goal and over 87,000 residents now have new quality, affordable care.

Loretta actively supported California's expansion of the state's Medicaid program, MediCal. The program now offers health care coverage to almost two million low-income single adults and families throughout the state.
