Congressman Charles B. Rangel released the following statement on the capture of Ahmed Abu Khatallah:
"I am very proud to say that the United States has tracked down and arrested the architect behind the assault on our diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
This recent development is a testament to the dedication of our men and women serving in the military, law enforcement, and intelligence community. I also applaud President Obama for his leadership and commitment to apprehend the organizers behind a blatant act of terrorism.
Today, let us rejoice for this extraordinary victory while remembering the ultimate sacrifice made by Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Ambassador Christopher Stevens."
