Congresswoman Hahn Joins Bipartisan Delegation in Normandy for 70th Anniversary of D-Day

Today, Congresswoman Janice Hahn (CA-44) announced that she has joined a bipartisan bicameral Congressional Delegation (CODEL) to Normandy to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Allied D-Day Invasion. On Friday, June 6, Congresswoman Hahn will join her colleagues, President Barack Obama, and French President Francois Hollande for a special commemorative observance of the anniversary at Omaha Beach and Sword Beach.

"It is an incredible honor to join my colleagues and the President in Normandy to mark this momentous anniversary," said Congresswoman Hahn. "70 years later, we are still humbled by the bravery and sacrifice that took place on these beaches. The heroism displayed here shaped the course of history and secured the freedom of our allies across the globe. I am proud to be here to honor the men who gave their lives so that we could live ours. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten."
