I am a strong supporter of 2nd Amendment rights and helped lead the committee and floor fight against SB 281, Governor O'Malley's anti-gun legislation from 2013. I believe in the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. I've also sponsored legislation to make Maryland a "shall issue" state for concealed carry permits.
Gun ownership is not just about hunting. It's a constitutional right and it's about freedom.
