In Maryland, there is no greater assault on the people's basic rights, than the Second Amendment's guaranteed right for law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Despite growing evidence that gun control does not curb gun violence, our elected officials continue to restrict our rights. Through my decade of work with law enforcement fighting against violent crime in our county, I can confirm that most gun crimes are committed by person's already prohibited from owning and possessing guns by existing law.
