Senator John Walsh today released the following statement after President Obama announced his decision to keep nearly 10,000 American troops in Afghanistan in 2015:

"The President's decision is a disappointment. While we must never turn our back to any threat, Montanans are frustrated the President hasn't done more to task Afghanistan's leaders with their own security."
