Bera Honors Fallen Soldiers and Families for Memorial Day

This past Memorial Day Rep. Ami Bera, M.D. travelled throughout the county to recognize, honor, and remember the fallen and their families. "We are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice," said Rep. Bera. "‪Memorial Day is a time to remember those who've made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As a doctor who's helped care for World War II, Korean, and Vietnam War veterans, I'm continually humbled by the enormous sacrifices our heroes and their families have made." Rep. Bera attended the Wounded Veteran Run in Folsom and Rancho Cordova's 8th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony. He also spent time at the Sacramento Community Veterans Alliance health fair visiting with veterans and volunteer medical students and spoke about the importance of education and helping others.
