Issue Position

Many families in our district have faced economic uncertainty recently. Over the last few years America has experienced its most significant economic turmoil since the Great Depression. Congress has seen fit to cut essential funding for education and job training programs in response and this trend must be changed.

Raj will support funding in Congress for programs that spur American innovation, and educational programs that help keep the United States the leader in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). These programs, along with American ingenuity, will allow us to remain the world's strongest economy and a leader in new discovery.

In Congress, Raj will work to restore common sense solutions that fund the federal government and keep our economy moving towards a full recovery. Rather than hold the budget hostage to partisan battles, Raj will work with all members of Congress to keep the government funded and maintain economic security for Pennsylvania's 16th district and our country.
