Rep. Walberg Votes for Permanent Tax Relief for Job Creators

Today Rep. Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 4438, the American Research and Competitiveness Act, to provide businesses with a permanent research and development tax credit. The R&D tax credit has been renewed 14 times since 1981.

"The House's action today will help spur growth and provide much needed stability and certainty to American businesses. Making the research and development tax credit permanent will allow businesses in Michigan and across the nation to innovate, create jobs and increase wages for its workers," said Rep. Walberg following the vote.
