Denham to Hold Town Hall Meeting on French Camp VA Project

U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) will hold a town hall meeting on Friday, April 25, 2014 regarding his ongoing efforts to bring a VA facility to French Camp, CA. U.S. Representative Jerry McNerney (D-Stockton) will join.

The town hall will take place at 10 a.m. PDT in the Community Room at Health Plans of San Joaquin, located at 7751 South Manthey Road in French Camp. Reps. Denham and McNerney have invited representatives from VA Palo Alto, VISN 21, the Oakland Regional Office and the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C. to present on the status and expected completion date of the French Camp clinic.

"Building this facility in French Camp will raise the standard of care for veterans across the San Joaquin Valley," said Rep. Denham. "This town hall meeting gives us a chance to share the most up-to-date information about the project status with area veterans and gather feedback from the community."

Invited representatives include Michelle Kwok, Acting Director of the Oakland Regional Benefit Office; Sheila Cullen, Director of the VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21); Lisa Freeman, Director of the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System; Leonardo Flor, Director of the Western Region of the VA's Office of Construction and Facilities Management; and Jim Sullivan, Director of the VA's Office of Asset Enterprise Management.
