Rangel Statement on Tragedy at Kansas Jewish Center

Congressman Charles B. Rangel issued the following statement after learning of the deadly shootings at Jewish centers in Kansas:

I join America to mourn for the innocent lives that were tragically taken away in the shocking shootings at the Overland Park Jewish Community Center and the nearby Jewish assisted-living center, Village Shalom, outside of Kansas City. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and I wish the many that were injured a swift and full recovery. I strongly condemn such heinous hate crime which should have no place in our country.
