There will finally be some relief for seniors. Seniors who rely on Social Security will see a 3.5 percent cost of living adjustment (COLA) in 2012 and Seniors who rely on Medicare will see their Part B premiums and deductibles go down next year.

Seniors with fixed incomes have been making terrible sacrifices and choosing between rent and medication, food and doctor visits. This cost of living adjustment is welcome news for 63 million seniors and people with disabilities and the fulfillment of our sacred trust between the government and seniors and the disabled.
