Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) released the following statement in support of the House Democrats' "Demand a Vote" petition.
Rep. Frankel said, "The time is long overdue for Congress to pass legislation creating a roadmap to citizenship for the 11 million aspiring Americans living in the shadows of our country."
Rep. Frankel joined with her Democratic colleagues to bring comprehensive immigration reform to the House floor for a vote on the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act (HR 15).
