Congresswoman Annie Kuster Applauds Administrative Fix to Allow Granite Staters to Keep their Health Plans

Statement

Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement today regarding the President's announcement of an administrative fix to allow people to keep their current health plans until 2017:

"I was proud to work with the President on a fix that will allow New Hampshire residents to keep their current health plans, even if those plans were originally canceled for not meeting Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements. Far too many of my constituents faced health care cancellations after the ACA rollout, and this law was intended to help ensure access to health care for every American, not take it away. Up to 33,000 New Hampshire residents could benefit from this fix, and I'm pleased the President listened to my concerns in order to allow these residents to keep their plans for nearly three more years."
