WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) today released the following statement in response to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Wheeler's announcement that he plans to reinstate Net Neutrality rules under Section 706 of the Telecommunications Act.

"I am disappointed that Chairman Wheeler has chosen to ignore the unprecedented Internet innovation, investment and job creation that have all thrived without government intervention and regulation. This latest attempt by the FCC will only bring unnecessary uncertainty to the marketplace and harm consumers. In order to prevent the FCC from attempting to re-regulate the Internet and stifle the prosperous Internet economy, I have begun looking into all legislative options.
