Governor and Team Looking for Win

Governor Janet Napolitano will make her second appearance as the guest coach for the Arizona State University women's basketball team on Thursday. The Sun Devils (15-7, 7-5) take on the University of Southern California Trojans (16-6, 10-3). Napolitano last guest coached ASU in February of 2004.

After coming from a difficult loss to Stanford, the Sun Devils are prepared for a win.

"This is going to be a close game, but ASU has what it takes," said Napolitano. "They will start a winning streak that will continue when they beat UCLA next week."

Napolitano's record as a guest women's basketball coach is 4-2. She has coached three University
of Arizona games, one Arizona State University game and two Phoenix Mercury games.
