Olson Applauds Pro-Consumer Internet Court Decision

Statement

Washington, DC - Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) today issued the following statement of support of the US Court of Appeals D.C. Circuit Court's decision that strikes down part of the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) net neutrality rules:

"Today's ruling was a strong message of support for consumers," Olson said. "Every American benefits when regulations that pick winners and losers are tossed out in favor of providing a free market Internet universe. Technology will be freely developed, providing more choices for consumers. Net neutrality rules, as the FCC rules were called, are an example of government overreach and I'm pleased that the court applied common sense in rejecting these regulations."
