Foster, Whip Hoyer, House Freshmen Call For Action On Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Today, Congressman Bill Foster joined House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer and more than a dozen House Democrats to call on Speaker Boehner and House Republicans to bring comprehensive immigration up for a vote.

"There has been overwhelming support from the business community, law enforcement, religious community, and people from all walks of life. Comprehensive immigration reform will expand our economy and lower our national debt. It's time for Congress to stop ignoring this critical issue and take action," said Foster.

Foster has long been an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform and is a co-sponsor of H.R. 15, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act -- a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would strengthen our borders, improve our legal immigration system and provide a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
