Governor Dayton Signs Executive Order 13-13

Today, Governor Mark Dayton issued Executive Order 13-13, assigning emergency responsibilities to state agencies. The Executive Order directs each state agency to designate a member of its staff as its emergency preparedness response contact and coordinator. It also designates persons from each state agency to serve on a Homeland Security Advisory Committee that will determine strategies and priorities for homeland security activities across disciplines and ensure coordination of all available federal preparedness funding sources.
