Tonight Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen will be presented with the Crittenton Legacy Award for Leadership at the 125th Anniversary Celebration of the Crittenton Services of Greater Washington. The Award is presented to individuals who represent the core values and essence of the work that Crittenton Services does to empower vulnerable teen girls. "I'm honored to receive this award from the wonderful and tireless team at Crittenton Services of Greater Washington," said Congressman Van Hollen. "Underprivileged and underserved young women in our community, and across the country, need the proper resources and support to overcome obstacles, make positive choices, and achieve their life goals. I will continue to support the important work that this organization does day in and day out as we fight for a better future for these girls."
