As a small businessman himself, Fernando has seen firsthand how state government makes it harder than it needs to be for job creators to grow and expand -- and understands we must do more to make New Jersey competitive not only with other states, but in the global marketplace as well.
Fernando is committed to attracting and retaining the jobs that a middle class family can not only survive on, but thrive.
As our Senator, he will support smart programs that:
- Provide for smart investments in capital improvements to provide up-front construction jobs and long-term middle-class jobs
- Work to overhaul our tax and regulatory structure to make New Jersey competitive
- Support job re-training programs that give local residents the skills they
need to obtain the jobs of the future.
