Congressman Cantor Hosts Virginia Business Leaders

Statement

Date: Oct. 23, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-7) today released the following message after hosting 7th District Chamber of Commerce members in his Washington office:

"The Chambers of Commerce throughout Virginia play a critical role in creating an environment for jobs and economic growth. All too often, policies coming from Washington make it harder for local businesses to succeed. Many managers are grappling with the implementation of the health care law and some companies are even being forced to cut back workers' hours. We share a common concern for ending the uncertainty caused by ObamaCare, keeping taxes low, and cutting red tape that is a barrier to job growth. Our Chamber leaders are committed to serving our communities and supporting our local businesses. We must continue to work together to strengthen our economy, empower small business owners, and offer skills training to help more 7th District Virginians find a good job."
