Lamborn Supports Bill to Fund Government, Eliminate Carve Outs

Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) released the following statement after the House passed a third Continuing Resolution to keep the government operating:

"This funding bill will keep the government operating, while protecting every American from the onerous individual ObamaCare mandate. It also ensures that Members of Congress and their staffs, and other well connected political insiders don't get any special subsidies or carve outs from ObamaCare. It's a fundamental issue of fairness.

"I am pleased the Senate and the House came to an agreement to protect our warfighters from any disruption in pay in the event of a partial government shutdown.I commend Representative Coffman for his leadership in passing this bill through the House and getting it to the president's desk. I know this bill will bring great peace of mind to our servicemen and women and their families." -- Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
