Rep. Gosar to the President: The Time is now for Bipartisanship

Statement

Date: Sept. 19, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) issued the following statement after President Obama told House Republicans that he will veto a continuing resolution that defunds Obamacare:

"The American people are tired of grid-lock and partisanship. They want results. President Obama and Senate Democrats should show bipartisanship on two issues that have united an overwhelming majority of Americans: opposition to Obamacare and preventing a government shutdown. The American people know what needs to be done. Rather than recklessly threatening a shutdown over the job-killer and tax-hike that is Obamacare, President Obama and his Democrat allies should listen to the people."
