Support for Congressman Marsha Blackburn's efforts to delay Obamacare continued to grow today with the list of cosponsors for H.R. 2809 reaching 120 House members. Blackburn's legislation to delay Obamacare for one year is also a part of the discussions being had on the potential debt ceiling proposal.
"With less than a week until the federal health care exchanges are scheduled to open, the Obama Administration today delayed another piece of Obamacare -- postponing the online enrollment of some small business exchanges. Every day it becomes more clear that Obamacare is not ready for primetime. That is why I have been fighting to delay this disastrous law that the majority of Americans do not want to be implemented.
"Working with my colleagues in the House, and with the help of Senator Jeff Flake's leadership in the Senate, we have been able to build strong support for a one-year delay of Obamacare. The American people can be encouraged by the fact that support for stopping Obamacare continues to grow and we will continue to do everything we can to protect hardworking Americans from its harmful effects."
