Leader Cantor Meets with Nascar's Denny Hamlin to Hightlight Kids Focused Research

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) today released the following statement after meeting with NASCAR driver and Richmond native Denny Hamlin and the March of Dimes to discuss prioritizing pediatric research:

"As a champion of the Kids First Research Act, I remain committed to prioritizing federal funding for life-saving medical research to help children. I appreciate the efforts of Denny Hamlin and the March of Dimes in their fight to reduce the incidence of premature births and birth defects. Their commitment to educating the American people about the PREEMIE Act and the Kids First Research Act plays a critical role in advancing pediatric research. I look forward to continuing to work with Denny Hamlin, the March of Dimes, and all those who share our goal of prioritizing research and resources which put our kids first."
