Yesterday U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis signed onto the American Health Care Reform Act (H.R. 3121), which would repeal Obamacare in its entirety, including its half trillion in taxes, over a trillion in new entitlement spending, and thousands of pages of regulations and mandates that are driving up the cost of insurance premiums. H.R. 3121 would replace Obamacare with insurance market reforms designed to lower premium costs, expand the coverage choices available to Americans, and ensure access to coverage for those with pre-existing conditions.
"I am working with over two dozen other House Republicans to replace the Obamacare "train-wreck' that is almost upon us," said Rep. Lummis. "The American Health Care Reform Act ensures access to health insurance coverage without sacrificing Americans' individual freedom and trillions of their tax dollars. We don't need Washington-dictated, budget-breaking Obamacare to improve access to affordable health care, including for those with pre-existing conditions. Our patient-centered plan is a desperately-needed alternative to the heavy-handed, top-down federal healthcare that is Obamacare."
