Years after the "Great Recession" ended, we still face a serious unemployment problem. Middle class families are still struggling while Wall Street got bailed out. Big banks borrow money for nearly nothing while college loan rates skyrocket. Schools are underfunded while corporations avoid paying taxes by hiding money overseas.
As a prosecutor and a state senator, Katherine Clark stood up to special interests and fought to protect the middle class. In Congress, she will fight for good jobs, great schools, and a secure retirement for every family.
Katherine will vote to end tax breaks for oil companies and billionaires that let them avoid paying their fair share so we can invest in education and job creation without raising taxes on middle class families.
Katherine will lead the effort to create clean energy jobs and to increase access to capital so the innovation economy can expand. She has been a champion for small businesses, promoting skill building and opening access to affordable health care.
