On Friday, August 16th, Congressman Runyan will be presented with the United States Chamber of Commerce's Spirit of Enterprise Award at Delco Headquarters in Willingboro, for his support of pro-jobs and pro-growth policies.
"The U.S. Chamber is the nation's most well-known pro-business, pro-jobs organization and I am honored to receive this award," said Runyan. "Since coming to Congress, I have made it a priority to reach across party lines and to support policies that will foster a better environment for job creation, provide opportunities to working families, and reduce the size and cost of government. It is a great honor to be recognized with this award and to receive it right here at Delco in Burlington County."
"Delco Development is honored that Congressman Runyan will be receiving the Spirit of Enterprise Award at our Corporate Offices," said Thomas Juliano, President and CEO of Delco Development, LLC. "We have been members of the Burlington County community for over 35 years and look forward to more positive business growth and government cooperation within our county."
"In the face of high-stakes politics and difficult choices, Congressman Runyan has provided New Jersey's job creators with a strong voice in Congress," said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber. "This award recognizes him for consistently demonstrating his support for pro-growth policies."
"Congressman Runyan is truly deserving of this honor from the U.S. Chamber," said Kristi Howell, president and CEO of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce. "Not only does he support pro-job and pro-growth policies, but he listens to the concerns of the business community and he takes action on their concerns. His efforts will keep our regional economy strong for decades to come."
After receiving the award, Congressman Runyan will be touring the Delco facility with employees. This is the third year in a row that Runyan has received the Spirit of Enterprise Award.
